FOR FLUENT SPEAKERS WHO STILL GET ASKED TO REPEAT THEMSELVES

English pronunciation coaching for professionals

You know the word. You've used it a hundred times. And still someone says "sorry, could you repeat that?"

That's not a vocabulary problem. It's a pronunciation problem, and it costs you something every time: the thread of your argument, the room's attention, a little of your authority.

Sorry, could you repeat that?

This is not about losing your accent

Your accent is part of who you are, and there is nothing wrong with it. Plenty of the most compelling speakers in international business have strong accents. The goal is to be understood without effort, so your listener spends their attention on your idea instead of decoding your words.

We work on clarity. You keep your accent.

WHO THIS IS FOR

01. Professionals who are fluent in English but get asked to repeat themselves

02. Anyone whose ideas get missed in meetings because the room lost a key word

03. Sales and client-facing people whose credibility depends on being understood first time

04. Speakers preparing for a presentation, a pitch, or a conference talk

05. Anyone who has been told "your English is very good" in a tone that suggests otherwise

You do not need to be a beginner. Most people who come for pronunciation coaching are at B2, C1 or above. That's the point: at this level, pronunciation is what's left.

WHAT WE ACTUALLY WORK ON

A small number of patterns, not everything at once

Every person has a small number of specific sounds and patterns causing most of the difficulty. We find yours in the first session, then work on those.

Sounds

The sounds your first language doesn't have. French speakers, for example, have particular trouble with "th", the difference between "sheep" and "ship", and the English "h".

Word Stress

English is a stress-timed language. Put the stress on the wrong syllable and a familiar word becomes unrecognisable, even when every sound is correct.

Rhythm & Linking

Native speakers run words together. Learning to hear it and do it is what makes speech sound natural rather than effortful.

Intonation

The melody that tells your listener what matters, what's a question, and whether you're finished speaking.

Speed

Most people speak too fast in a second language, usually out of nervousness. Slowing down is often the single fastest improvement available.

STEP 05

Online or in person

Sessions run by video call anywhere, or face to face in Grasse.

What changes

Lionel, a sales director at an international company, came for pronunciation after clients repeatedly struggled to understand him on calls. After 20 hours of coaching, he was understood first time, and stopped avoiding the phone.

3 - 4

Sessions before most clients notice a difference in their own recordings. Some notice it sooner.

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

Before you book

Is this the same as accent reduction?

Similar work, different intention. Accent reduction usually aims to replace your accent with a native one. This coaching aims to make you clearly understood while your accent stays yours. In practice we work on the same sounds; we just aren't trying to erase where you're from.

Can adults really change their pronunciation?

Yes. It's slower than for children and requires deliberate practice, but adults have an advantage: you can understand the mechanics of what your mouth is doing and apply it consciously. Most clients are between 30 and 55.

How many sessions will I need?

Most people work in blocks of ten hours. That's usually enough to fix the two or three patterns causing the most difficulty. Deeper work, like Lionel's, runs to twenty.

Do I need a certain level of English?

Pronunciation coaching works best from B1 upwards. Below that, the difficulty is usually vocabulary and structure rather than sound.

Can you do this online?

Yes, and it works well. Good audio matters more than being in the same room, so use headphones with a microphone.
